Super Bowl LIX: Game On! (And Rides Home Mandated!)

Hey football fanatics! Super Bowl LIX is almost here, and we at Drive Safe Missoula are just as pumped as you are! We're talking touchdowns, tight ends, and… pre-arranged, ironclad, no-exceptions-allowed responsible rides home. Because let's be honest, the only fumble we want to see this Sunday is a dropped pass, not someone's keys after a few too many celebratory (or commiseratory!) beverages.

People watching a football game on a large TV in a cozy living room. Audience wears team jerseys, creating an excited and engaged atmosphere.

We know, we know, the Super Bowl and tailgating go together like quarterbacks and questionable calls (I'll even admit that as a Kansas City Chiefs fan). But at Drive Safe Missoula, we also know that planning ahead is the real MVP of any successful party. So, let's huddle up and discuss how to make sure everyone gets home safe and sound.

Here's an example of a Winning Game Plan that we challenge you to use!

Folks, we're throwing the best Super Bowl party in Missoula, and we want YOU there! But with great parties come great responsibilities (and a couple important rules!). If you plan on enjoying the game with some adult beverages, here's the deal:

  • Ride-Sharing Royalty (or Mommy Dearest):  Your arrival and departure must be via Uber, Lyft, Taxi, or a ride from your Mom (or another responsible parental figure). No exceptions. We're talking a zero-tolerance policy for impaired driving. Consider it a mandatory "safety dance" for your keys.

  • Sober Saints (Parking Perks!): If you're planning to stay 100% sober the entire time (designated driver status!), we salute you! And we've got plenty of awesome parking just for you. Consider it the VIP section for responsible revelers.

  • Here's an example Party Poster. Feel Free to use this.

You could also try a Sober Bowl Extravaganza:

Think outside the keg, I dare you! A totally alcohol-free Super Bowl party can be just as epic. Remember, the commercials have enough beer in them for the entire state of Montana. Plus, you'll be able to remember every single play (and all the hilarious commercials). Bonus, no hangover and you'll likely save some money all while you support your friends and family in the sober & recovery community.

Mocktail Mania!

Speaking of non-alcoholic options, let's get creative! Here are two mocktails to represent our teams:

Icon of a recipe list with three checkboxes and lines, labeled "RECIPE." Black on a dark background, simple and minimalistic design.

Chiefs Kingdom Cooler: (For the KC fans) Mix cranberry juice, lime juice, and ginger ale. Garnish with a mint leaf and a mini Chiefs flag. This refreshing drink will have you cheering for more than just touchdowns.

Tall glass of red iced drink with mint leaves and a straw on a white background. The drink is vibrant, refreshing, and inviting.

Fly Eagles Fly Fizz: (For the Philly faithful) Combine green apple juice, sparkling water, and a splash of lemon juice. Add a few green apple slices and a tiny Eagles logo for extra flair. This zesty concoction will have you soaring high (responsibly, of course).

Green cocktail with ice, apple slices, and a logo of an eagle on the glass. The background is dark, highlighting the drink's vibrant color.

Why We're Doing This (Besides the Obvious Awesomeness):

At Drive Safe Missoula, we're passionate about keeping our community safe. We believe in celebrating responsibly and making smart choices. Because the only thing that should be "super" about Super Bowl Sunday is the game itself, not the consequences of impaired driving.

So, let's make this Super Bowl LVIII a winning one for everyone. Share this post with your friends and family, and let's all commit to making responsible choices. Because a safe ride home is the ultimate touchdown and please remember, your seat belt is the best defense against the other people on the road who didn't attend a party like this.

Thanks and Drive Safe Missoula
